The activity was intended for the migrants and their families in order to develop a deeper understanding on the various migration issues and to address personal concerns.

The two-day program also tackled various matters concerning effective public speaking, web development, and team building.

Jeff Menguin, Advanced Communicator Gold and Past Area Governor of Toastmasters International, discussed on the modules for team building and public speaking.

Ellene Sana from the Center for Migrant Advocacy Philippines (CMA-PHILS) facilitated the seminar-workshop on the concerns of migrants on their migration process in the context of human rights.

The activity ended with a lecture by Fr. Fabio Baggio of the Scalabrini Migration Center (SMC) on basic web development.

Established in 1995, PMRW is a registered civil society network that is tasked to encourage the recognition, protection and fulfillment of the rights of the Filipino migrants worldwide most especially in the Philippines during their migration period.
