Local organisations frequently request assistance in building and effectively managing programmes that serve uprooted people, or seek additional resources for training related to the greater protection of migrant rights. ICMC works with these local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as local authorities, to provide additional training and sustainably strengthen the capacity of local actors.

In addition to providing capacity building to NGOs in the areas critical to successful programme implementation (e.g. financial reporting and administration, donor relations and human resources), ICMC provides tailored training on durable solutions, emergency preparedness, protection of human rights, counter-trafficking, peace-building and on the prevention of gender-based violence.
