This book examines in particular the newest of the seven core UN human rights treaties: the Migrant Workers Convention, which is the first international treaty that gathers in one place all of the universal rights that apply specifically to migrant workers. In force since 2003, the Migrant Workers Convention has been ratified by 34 countries to date, with ratifications up over 50% in the past three years. This toolkit is one of the first publications in the field.
