BRUSSELS, 14 May 2012—On 14-15 May in Brussels, ICMC Europe and its partners the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) staged the first ever EU Resettlement Skills Share Day. Facilitated in the framework of the joint project “Linking in EU Resettlement”, the EU Resettlement Skills Share Day brought together approximately 200 participants from 26 countries - including EU officials, governments, NGOs, local authorities , resettled refugees and the media to share learning, exchange best practice and build resettlement knowledge and capacity across Europe.Read more<

BRUSSELS, 10 May 2012—The newly adopted Joint EU Resettlement Programme now offers European countries possibilities to make a significant contribution to global resettlement. In order to expand and strengthen resettlement in Europe, IOM, ICMC and UNHCR are working together on a project called ‘Linking-In in EU Resettlement’.
